35 Executive Blvd., Orange, Ct. Architect: John Cruet, Jr. The SAAB Building is a prime example of a quality project which was delivered according to a tight schedule. It serves as the flagship building on Baker Properties' Orange Executive Campus. Design drawings were commenced in December of 1987, and the building was completed in November of 1988. The building contains 66,000 square feet of office space on three floors. It is of non-combustible steel construction, utilizing panelized "STO" cementitious panels on the exterior, to provide a combination of energy saving insulation and aesthetics. Other buildings John Cruet, Jr. designed within the Campus include 12 Cascade Blvd. and 22 Marsh Hill Road- a combination of over 200,000 square feet of industrial tenant space. In addition, my firm did the tenant retrofits for Superior Storage at 12 Cascade Blvd., Parlux, and Tiernay Metals at both 15 Executive Blvd. and 22 Marsh Hill Road. |
